Head Start needs stability, not temporary fixes.
What we need is a Multiple-Year Authorization, like the one last passed in 2007 under President George W. Bush. A long-term authorization is a real investment in our children’s future, ensuring consistent funding, program stability, and uninterrupted services for the families who rely on Head Start. It is a commitment to early childhood education, not just a stopgap solution.
