Job Board
Position Purpose The Teacher Aide is a member of the classroom team and helps plan and initiate meaningful learning activities for Head Start children ages 3-5 years. The Teacher Aide assists the teacher in conducting classroom activities, maintaining classroom environment, and supervising children and may also assist in planning and record keeping and other classroom related duties. Child Inc operates one Administrative Campus and multiple child development centers all located within Travis County.
The Office of Head Start (OHS), a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families (ACF), provides grants to Child Inc. to provide Head Start and Early Head Start services within Travis County. Child Inc operates one Administrative Campus and multiple child development centers all located within Travis County.
Child Inc.’s procurement procedures are designed to be in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to 2 CFR § 200.318-326 and 7 CFR § 226.22. Child Inc conducts analyses to avoid the purchase of unnecessary or duplicative items and will consolidate or break out procurements to obtain a more economical purchase.
Upon signing of the contract, the successful vendor will be expected to sign a conflict-of-interest disclosure, payment policy, confidentiality notice, debarment or suspension status certification, and Child Inc’s waiver of liability.

Request for Proposal (RFP) – Video Production Services
Project Overview
Child Inc seeks proposals from qualified video production companies to create a 6–8 minute video that tells our story and showcases the impact of our programs. The video will be featured during our Annual Report Launch, on social media, and on our website.
Scope of Work
The video should:
- Be 6–8 minutes in length.
- Include interviews with:
- Child Inc Executive Director
- A parent participant
- A community partner
- Capture classroom activities and authentic interactions.
- Be filmed at one Child Inc designated site.
- Incorporate branding elements and align with Child Inc’s mission and tone.
Deliverables
- Final edited video (high-resolution format suitable for web and social media).
- Short teaser clips (optional, if included in proposal).
- All raw footage delivered to Child Inc upon completion.
Timeline
- RFP Submission Deadline: Wednesday, January 21, 2026, by 5:00 PM CST
- Final Video Due: February 6, 2026
- Filming to occur between January 23–30, 2026 (exact date to be coordinated).

Child Inc Head Start is seeking bids from qualified caterers to provide a buffet-style breakfast for 150–200 guests at an upcoming Heart of our Work Community Event.
Event Details:
- Location: Central Downtown East Austin (venue includes parking and a commercial kitchen for catering use)
- Date: February 13, 2026
- Event Time: 8:30 to 10:30am
- Bid Deadline: Wednesday, January 28, 2026, by 5:00 PM CST

Breakfast Menu Requirements:
- Seasonal fruit salad
- Scrambled eggs
- Pork sausage
- Vegetarian sausage option
- Potatoes with onions/bell peppers
- Grits
- Biscuits with gravy (no meat)
- Coffee (regular & decaf) to include cream/sweeteners and orange juice
Additional Requirements:
- Caterer will provide warming stations, beverage stations, and all utensils for a self-serve buffet.
- Services must include after-event kitchen clean-up and trash removal.
- Venue’s commercial kitchen will be available for use.
Important Requirement:
All caterers must hold current food permits, insurance, and licenses required to operate within the City of Austin. Documentation may be requested as part of the bid review process.
