Child Inc. was established as an independent 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation in 1972. The Office of Head Start (OHS), a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families (ACF), provides grants to Child Inc. to provide Head Start and Early Head Start services within Travis County.
Since 1972, Child Inc. has served as the Head Start grantee for the Austin Travis County Community and in 1997 was awarded an Early Head Start (EHS) grant. Since that time Child Inc. has successfully provided comprehensive services to over 2000 low-income children and their families annually. Our holistic approach to school readiness ensures that the most vulnerable children within our community are ready for school, families are ready to support their children’s learning, and schools are ready for children.

Proposals submitted will not be opened and reviewed until the time specified. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that the Proposal is received by the date and time specified.
