Amplify Austin’s Day of Community Giving is here on March 2nd to 3rd, from 6pm to 6pm. Child Inc has provided early learning and family support services for over 50 years helping over 45,000 low income children ages birth to five with education, dental, nutrition, mental health and disabilities services providing a whole family 2-generational approach. Your donations will make a difference for our children in need.
Why it Matters…
* Early childhood is the single most prolific period of development for children
—90 percent of a child’s brain growth occurs between birth & the age of three.
* Children from disadvantaged families score far below their peers from higher-income families in early vocabulary, literacy development & math.
* Quality early education can provide the developmentally stimulating experiences that many children growing up in poverty lack.
Your donation changes lives ensuring low income young children are school ready before they enter kindergarten. Child Inc programming creates stimulating learning environments including providing bilingual services to assist with implementing intentional teaching strategies that ensure all children are ready to succeed in school. Child Inc provides services to over 1,400 income eligible families every year with children ages birth to five with in center based learning, home based services and collaborative Head Start classrooms within Austin, Del Valle and Manor ISD.
